Vera Tay

Coach Vera began her journey as a Rhythmic Gymnastics coach toward the end of her own time as an athlete. Since July 2021, she has been coaching at a Fly Once Gymnastics School specializing in teaching Kinder (ages 5-6) and Recreational (ages 7-12) gymnasts. In her classes, Coach Vera emphasizes both the technical aspects of gymnastics and the importance of creating a safe and respectful environment. As an accomplished school gymnast, Coach Vera has won several prestigious titles, including 1st place in the National Championships Level 5 Individual Clubs in 2021, 1st place in the National School Games B Division Individual Hoop in 2021, and 1st place in Team Championship at the National School Games B Division in 2022. Her coaching approach focuses on developing her students' gymnastics skills while fostering their self-expression, responsibility, and focus.
