Kristen Chan

Coach Kristen is a dedicated rhythmic gymnastics coach with a strong background in the sport. She began coaching at Fly Once Gymnastics School in December 2022, where she teaches recreational gymnasts aged 7-12. In her classes, Coach Kristen focuses on helping students develop their skills in handling apparatus such as the ball and rope, as well as mastering simple Freehand routines. Her coaching philosophy centers on making lessons engaging and enjoyable, with an emphasis on discipline, sportsmanship, and a deep appreciation for rhythmic gymnastics.

As a rhythmic gymnast, Kristen has achieved remarkable success throughout her competitive career. She secured 1st place in the Individual All-Around category at the National School Games C Division in 2022, along with 1st place finishes in both the Group and Team categories. In 2023, she continued to excel by winning 1st place in the Ribbon Event at the National School Games C Division. Most recently, in 2024, she led her group to another 1st place victory in the National School Games B Division. These accomplishments underscore her talent and commitment to the sport.
